Milton Eugene "Gene" Powell(1932 - 2018)
Mr. Powell died 85 years young, a man of integrity, knowledge and skills who mentored many. He was preceded in death by parents; Milton Hubert and Francis Edith Morrison Powell; Brothers Richard and John; Sister Francis Louise and first wife Doris Irion Powell.
Gene's Dance Instructor, Del Stephens, became his Eternal Dance Partner 35 years ago when they married, and joined their families: Donna Powell Gibson (Bruce), Jim Powell (Becky), David Powell (Lisa), Darla Miller, and Steve Miller (Amy). They are blessed with 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Gene molded his ethics from: US Navy EN2: Korea Service & Ribbons, United Nations Service Medal & Navy Service Medal 1950-1953, USS Fletcher, Texas A&M Mechanical Engineering '59; Registered PE, 12th Man for Life, Carrier Technologies 1959-1987, CCCCD Founding Director Engineering: 1988-99, Realtor with Del 2000-2018.
