1955 - 2018

Terence W. Cozad, Psy.D., 62, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018. Terry was born July 31, 1955 in Hollywood, CA., and was raised in Houston, TX. He was later a resident of Wheaton, IL for 27 years and attended St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Dr. Cozad received his Undergraduate and Masters degrees from Texas A & M University and was a proud Aggie. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver and his residency in Psychology at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Cozad was in practice for over 30 years in Yorkville, Aurora and most recently at Education & Psychological Services in Naperville, IL. He was devoted to his work with children/adolescents with ADD/ADHD issues and was passionate in helping his patients.

Outside the practice he enjoyed world travels, especially revisiting his favorite places, Paris and Hawaii. Terry loved sharing fine wine and food with his friends and was always trying out the newest restaurants. He also took pleasure in collecting art, listening to music and was a talented photographer. Terry was particularly adept with computers and served as IT support for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father John W. Cozad and is survived by his mother, Eileen Cozad, 3 sisters, Teresa Brown, Victoria Bradford, Andrea (Britt) Brooks, 3 nephews, 5 nieces, uncle, Edward H. Clark, 4 cousins and close friend/travel partner, Craig W. Brickell.

Visitation is Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1:00PM to 6:00PM at Williams/Kampp Funeral Home, 430 Roosevelt Road, Wheaton. Funeral Mass is 10:00AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 480 S. Park Blvd. (corner of Park and Fawell Blvds.), Glen Ellyn. Burial will be in Magnolia, TX.

Clark, 4 cousins and close friend/travel partner, Craig W. Brickell.

Funeral Mass was at 10:00AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 480 S. Park Blvd. Glen Ellyn,IL. The Viewing will start at 11:30am, Catholic Service in the Chapel at 1:00pm and Burial will follow on Saturday January 27, 2018 at the Magnolia Funeral Home in Magnolia, TX.
