Harlan A. Wensel
May 7, 1934 - January 6, 2018
At Harlan’s request, no formal service will be held.
Should friends desire, memorials in his name may be given to the Texas A&M Scholarship Fund.
Harlan August Wensel, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2018.
Harlan was born May 7, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Rev. Robert and Nora Wensel. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1955 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. He worked at Convair and retired from General dynamics after 37 1/2 years.
Harlan was preceded in death by parents; sister, Myrl Wade; and son, Joe.
Survivors: Loving wife of 59 1/2 years, Acey Wensel; son, Paul; grandchildren, Philip, Christian, Hela and Daniel; and many, many friends, too numerous to list, who loved him.
