October 10, 1974 - November 11, 2017
Rebecca Heinemeyer Rosson, age 43 of Seguin, passed away on November 11, 2017. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service celebrating Becca will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Cross Church, 814 N. Bauer, Seguin, TX 78155 with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Born on October 10, 1974 to Ronald and Karen (Boenig) Heinemeyer, Becca was baptized and confirmed at Cross UCC and her childhood was blessed with many church friends and youth outings. She attended Seguin schools, receiving her High School diploma in 1993 from her dad, and went on to earn her Bachelor degree from Texas A&M University. Becca taught in both Texas and California, where she was recognized as “Teacher of the Year.” She also volunteered in California to raise funds for the National Brain Tumor Society. Preceding her in death are grandparents, George and Romie (Moltz) Heinemeyer and Helmuth and Ella (Mattfeld) Boenig; uncle, Doug Heinemeyer; nephew, Todd Bauchman. Becca is survived by her parents; her sisters Beth Bauchman and husband, John Allen; Sabrina Rios and husband, Raul; nephews, Sterling Rios, Saxton Rios and Trey Bauchman; aunts, Pat Boenig and Alice Heinemeyer; cousin, Scott Heinemeyer; great-aunt, Lula Mae Thomas; and the love of her life, 5 year old Millie Frances. Becca also leaves many friends far and near who will miss her caring nature, quick wit, and ready smile. The family wishes to thank her caregivers and the GRMC Hospice helpers.
