November 21, 1969 to November 22, 2017

William Copenhaver (known to all as Bill, Billy or Bub) went to be with our Lord on November 22, 2017 after fighting a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer for over 11 years. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Bill graduated from Nimitz High School in 1989 and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science. Bill met his wife, Alicia, while studying at Texas A&M and they adopted two beautiful children, Logan and Kassandra and resided in Missouri City, Texas.
Bill went on to have a long and successful career as a Project Estimator in the oil and gas industry working the last 12 years at Fluor Corporation. Bill was a strong Christian man who was an active member of St. Angela Merci Catholic Church and was part of the Knights of Columbus men's organization where he participated in numerous charitable activities. Bill also participated in the Journey to Damascus retreat and encouraged other to do the same.

Bill was a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He loved spending time with his family and he never met a stranger. Bill loved to hunt, fish and play sports.
Bill is preceded in death by his father, Harry William Copenhaver II (Bill) and father-in-law, Dr. J.J. Burianek. He is survived by his wife, Alicia Copenhaver, son, Logan Copenhaver, daughter, Kassandra Copenhaver, mother, Irene Copenhaver, mother-in-law, Sylvia Burianek, sister, Debbie Jones and brother-in-law, Jeff Jones, sister, Peggy Higgins and brother-in-law Mike Higgins, twin sister, Julie Grutzmacher and brother-in-law Keith Grutzmacher and sister-in-law, Jennifer Burianek. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Hunter Jones, Haley and Sean Kenney, Hope Higgins, Craig Caldwell and Sydney Grutzmacher.
