Jim Ryan Kinder, 50, returned to his heavenly home on November 19, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Jim was born to E.G. and Maxine Kinder in Ft. Worth, TX on September 14, 1967. The family moved to Palestine, TX in 1976. He graduated from Palestine High School in 1986 and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 1991. Jim was hired by McFadden & Miller, LTD. in 1992 which brought him to Dallas. After a few career adventures he returned to McFadden & Miller, LTD. in 2013 where he was employed as a project manager until the time of his death.

Jim was blessed with a loving family. He married his best friend and high school sweetheart, Jennifer Snider, on July 27, 1991 in Palestine, TX. Jim helped raise his children, Jessica & Ryan, with patience, discipline, and humility. He was a very loving and dedicated father & husband.

He was also very involved with his church family in mission services and served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for several years. He was also a member of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge No. 201. Jim was a friend to all, always had a smile ready, and would help in any way he could.

Jim had a love for the outdoors. He loved to keep busy hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, and just being out in God’s creation. His main joy was spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his daughter Jessica Kinder; his son Ryan Kinder; his mother Maxine Kinder; his brother Mike Kinder; his sisters Lois McMillan and Karen McKinney. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene Kinder.
