Hubert Eldon Welch
July 22, 1941 - April 21, 2007

Hubert Eldon Welch, 65, a resident of Scribner Mill Road in Culleoka, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services and burial for Mr. Welch were conducted Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Round Timber Cemetery Pavilion in Round Timber, Texas. Archer Funeral Home in Seymour, Texas was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Welch was a native of Seymour, Texas and the son of the late Henry and Lessie Welch. He was married to Diane Ferguson Welch. He was associated with both the Baptist and Lutheran churches. Mr. Welch retired from Tractor Supply Company (TSC) in Franklin where he worked in sales. He began his banking career in Seymour, Texas and soon afterwards persued his Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from Texas A & M. He was a well-known horticulturist in Middle Tennessee having been associated with Trevecca University, and the states of Ohio, Michigan, Alaska, and Tennessee. He enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, and loved the outdoors. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, John Henry Welch and Shaylen Nicholas Welch of Culleoka; Todd Welch of Arlington, Texas; Granddaughters, Allison Welch and Katie Welch of Arlington, Texas; grandson, Kyle Welch of Arlington, Texas; sister, LaVerne Hedges of Texas; brothers, Donald (Betty) Welch of Seymour, Texas; Garland (Barbara) Welch of Witchita Falls, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
