Don Sellers
April 19, 1927 - October 24, 2017
Donald F. Sellers, Ph.D. born on April 19, 1927, died October 24, 2017. Don was a voracious seeker of knowledge with a personal touch. Don had a unique gift of connecting with everyone in a very special way. He adored all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was proud of every one of them. He was devoted to his wife, Betty, whom he cherished and adored. Most of all, he loved The Lord and is resting with him. A navy veteran, Don earned a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from SMU, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M. Don is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Chuck; daughter, Mary; six grandchildren, Geoff Ferguson, Casey Parker; Mac, Grace, Cole and Hunt Sellers; and two great grandchildren, Maddy and Chase Ferguson. The world is a lesser place without him. A special Thanks to the Staff at Medical City who took such great care of him in his final days. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
