Prabhakar Ghangurde
Passed away peacefully on Oct 15, 2017. Survived by his wife, Leela; sons, Mukund (Ina), Makarand (Shannon); grandchildren Sarika, Vikram, Nikhil, Jackson, Sophia. Earned his PhD in Statistics from Texas A&M. After a successful career at Stats Can, he was passionate about his research in Statistics. A regular presenter at American Statistical Association (ASA), recently in August 2017 Baltimore. ASA recognized him for distinguished membership of 45 years. Service will be held at 11 AM, Oct 18, 2017 at the Pinecrest Remembrance Services.
