SIMS, WILLIAM H. Born October 16, 1916 in Gainesville, Texas. Passed away on July 24, 2002 in Dallas, Texas. Survived by daughter, Alecia Helton; son, Robert W. Sims and wife Renee; two grandchildren, Rebecca Sims and Hudson Sims; three sisters, Laurel Walker,
Beth Yonkers, and Polly Blackwell; a host of nieces and nephews. Bill was a veteran of World War II, he was a co-pilot of a B-24 out of England and continued to serve for the Reserves for twenty-five years retiring as Lt. Colonel. He was a Civil Engineer for
over forty years specializing in designing lakes and reservoirs. He worked on lakes Ray Hubbard, Towakeni, Palestine, Livingston, Sam Rayborn, Toledo Bend. Bill was a proud Aggie all of his life, class of 1950. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 27,
