November 29, 1959 - August 29, 2017

Greg Gantt, 57, of Bryan, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in Bryan surrounded by his family. A visitation will be Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on September 1, 2017 in the chapel of Callaway-Jones Funeral Centers. Life Tribute Service will begin at 11 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the College Station Memorial Cemetery; officiating services is Rev. Jennifer Webber of First United Methodist Church - Bryan. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

Greg was born to Myron and Sue Willard Gantt on November 29, 1959 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Bryan High School in 1978 then attended Texas A&M. He was a student manager for the Bryan Vikings football team and also for the Texas A&M football team. He loved sports, especially Aggie football, baseball and basketball. Civil Engineering Consultants (CEC) as a Survey Crew Chief employed him.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Morris and Mildred Snell Gantt and Fred C. and Allene Preuss Willard, his father-in-law, Bobby Fuchs, and daughter, Hollie Winn.

His survivors are his wife of seventeen years, Lynne Fuchs Gantt; his children, Nancy Kindle, Sam Winn, Natalie Stevens and husband, Jeff, John Myron Gantt, Sara Gantt Goggans and husband, Dillon, and Colton Gantt; his parents, Myron and Sue Gantt; his mother-in-law, Betty Fuchs; his brother, Bob and wife Christy Gantt; his two grandchildren, Preston Stevens and Gwen Stevens; uncles, George Gantt (Michele), Jim Gantt and Fred B. Willard (Colleen): other family members and many friends.
