Dale Edward Inman
November 20, 1951 - September 07, 2017

Dr. Dale Edward Inman DVM, age 65, passed away on September 7, 2017 in Childress, TX.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Childress with Stran Smith officiating, assisted by Dr. James Hall. Burial will immediately follow in the Tell Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.

Dale was born in Childress on November 20, 1951 to J. Frank Inman and Johnnie (Seal) Inman.

Dale was a 1970 graduate from Childress High School and married his high school sweetheart, Lileesa [Wyatt]. He received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1975. After graduating from A&M, Dale worked in clinics in Clarendon and Texarkana before moving to Borger where they owned and operated the Animal Hospital until 1988.

After leaving Borger, they moved to Childress to join the Inman family farming and ranching operation, while providing veterinary services in the surrounding area. Later, Dale began a vineyard and a winery venture with his children and grandchildren.

Dale’s most treasured professional accomplishment was his Black Angus herd. He spent decades managing, loving and always naming his favorite cows. His pride and joy was watching his kids and grandkids activities and sporting events. Dale was passionate about sports and fishing. He loved his Aggies, his Rangers and Cowboys, and of course his Childress Bobcats.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, J. Frank and Johnnie Inman; father-in-law, Edwin Wyatt; brother-in-law, Tim Wyatt; nephew, Taylor Inman.

He is survived by:

Wife – Lileesa Inman of Childress, TX

Daughter – Lachella Coley and husband, Clint of New Braunfels, TX

Son – Brandon Inman and wife, Amy of Monahans, TX

Son – Luke Inman and wife, Amy of Wellington, TX

Brother – John Inman and wife, Gina of Childress, TX

Brother – Bruce Inman and wife, Connie of Childress, TX

Mother-in-law – Fae Wyatt of Childress, TX

Grandchildren – Sage, Cooper, Layton and Ella Coley of New Braunfels, TX

Grandchildren – Abby and Bo Inman of Monahans, TX

Grandchildren – Lawson, Ava Kate and Jack Inman of Wellington, TX

Brother-in-law/Sister-in-law – Ranae Wyatt, Cavin and Debbie Wyatt, Connie Wyatt, Aimee and Greg Bowman

13 Nieces and Nephews.
