George W. Lee Powell(1943 - 2017)
POWELL, George W Lee My honey, Lee, 74, peacefully surrendered to ALS at home August 15, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Linda Burrows, his family, children, grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Lee followed his passion for sports as a referee beginning at age 20. "Coach" was a devoted fan and loved the Texas Rangers. A lifelong science teacher and Aggie, Class of 63, Lee donated his body to Texas A&M Health Science Center. Touching countless lives, Lee has many friends both in Texas and across the U.S. His joyous spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
