Kimberly Love Eubanks (Davis)
March 24, 1959 - August 8, 2017
Kim was born in Austin, Texas on March 24, 1959 to William H (Bill) Davis and Judy A. Davis. She joined her older brother Timothy Davis and later was overjoyed at the arrival of her younger brother David Davis.
She was raised in Rollingwood, just west of Austin. She was influenced heavily not only by her parents, but by her grandparents, Henry & Dorothy Schmitt.
As a child Kim was active in music and dance. Along with her brother Tim, she took guitar lessons among other musical pursuits even attending charm school.
She attended Eanes schools, graduating from Westlake High School in 1977. Kim was active in choir and was a member of the Hyline Drill Team. As part of her time in choir, Kim would take part in two singing tours to Romania in Eastern Europe behind the Iron
Curtain. These trips created lifelong friendships and had a lasting impact on Kim and her worldview.
After graduation from Westlake she attended Texas A&M University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 1981. Kim was an Aggie through and through. She loved all things A&M but especially Aggie Football. More than just a gameday fan,
Kim was an avid reader of TexAgs.com and Twitter. She could tell you the recruiting status of every 3 star recruit the Aggies were after, their high school honors and stats and the likelihood of them committing to A&M.
After college Kim moved to Houston and while working on her plan to become a paralegal and perhaps a lawyer, Kim embarked on an accidental career in Staffing Services sales. She worked successfully in this field for almost 15 years in Houston, Indiana, Austin
and Dallas. It was during this time that she met her husband, Michael Eubanks. They were married on May 13, 1989 in Austin with Tab Gray presiding.
Mike brought his two sons Bradley and Aaron Eubanks, creating an instant family. In 1990 the family grew with the addition of Avery Love Eubanks and again in 1994 with the birth of Davis Scott Eubanks. It was at this point that Kim made the difficult decision
to leave her sales career behind and stay at home with the children. Never one to sit still Kim created her own company and worked from home. Later she would use her dance background and sales experience providing drill teams and cheerleader squads all over
the state of Texas with uniforms and practice gear. Finally, several years back Kim again created her own company, Gaudy Up! She sold everything from costume jewelry to personalized items online and was really growing the business.
Kim was an Aggie through and through. She loved to tailgate and loved our tailgate family. She loved Kyle Field, was there when they imploded the old west stands and also at the opening game the next year when the new stadium opened. She proudly wore maroon
and never took off her Aggie ring. She instilled this spirit into her children and both attended Texas A&M.
Kim was 58 years old when she left this earth, bound for glory in heaven. She is survived by husband Mike Eubanks of Plano, daughter Avery Eubanks of Dallas, son Davis Eubanks of College Station, stepsons Bradley Eubanks of Dallas and Brad’s daughter Brooke
of Denton, Aaron Eubanks and his wife Kate of Lincoln, Nebraska. Her brother Timothy Davis and his wife Jan. Her brother David Davis and his wife Laura. Her aunt Dannye Wilson. Numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
