JULY 16, 1946 - AUGUST 5, 2017
Dr. Theresa Ann Nagy, age 71 from Alexandria, VA, died peacefully on August 5th, 2017 at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA. She was born on July 16th, 1946 in Wheeling, WV to Arthur and Ann Nagy. She had one sister, Joyce Maria Noroozi and one brother, Arthur Stephen Nagy.
Her education consisted of:
West Liberty State College 1968, Bachelor of Science
Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University, 1970; Master of Science
University of Pennsylvania, 1974; Doctor of Philosophy
West Liberty State College, 1990; Doctor of Humane Letters
Theresa is survived by her sister, Joyce Noroozi of Indiana, her brother, Steve Nagy of Texas, three nephews: Shawn Noroozi of Illinois, Scott Noroozi of Indiana, Andrew Nagy of Texas, and one niece, Dr. Sheila Noroozi of Florida. She is predeceased by one nephew, Mark Nagy of Texas and her lifelong partner Mary Rees of VA.
Cremation by Cremation Society of Virginia-Chantilly. No set plans for interment at this time.
