Frank W. Gorman, Jr.


Frank W. Gorman, Jr., 93 passed away at home on July 25, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso who attended and graduated from St. Patrick Parochial School and El Paso High School. World War II interrupted his education at Texas A & M University and he became and served as a Navy Pilot. Following the War, he graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering and soon after went to work for the Gorman Family business.

He was dedicated to his family, community, Church and numerous civic organizations. He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Barbara Dodson Gorman. Survivors are daughters Susan Wilson (Larry) and Nancy Fox (Steve) and sons Patrick (Susie) and Mike (Jim Fay); seven grandchildren: Jason Gorman(Rachael), Joshua Gorman (Jessica), Molly Gorman Stoltzman (Ted), Paige Fox Woods (Patrick), Ashley Fox, Mimi Wilson Tarnowieckyi (Scott) and Robert Wilson; six great grandchildren and brother Arthur Gorman.

Rosary will be Sunday August 20, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, West, 128 N. Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912; Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday August 21, 2017 at Saint Patrick Cathedral at 9:00 a.m, 1118 N Mesa St, El Paso, TX 79902; followed by burial at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, TX 79906.
