Thomas G. Laine
May 21, 1963 — July 21, 2017

Thomas Gerard Laine, age 54, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital. He was born on May 21, 1963 in Galveston, Texas. Thomas attended Galveston Catholic Schools and graduated from O’Connell High School. He attended Texas A&M University, class of 1985, where he was a member of the Corp of Cadets. Aggie sports were his passion. In his early 20’s he was diagnosed with Myotonic Dystrophy, but it never broke his spirit and he always had a positive outlook on life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Charles L. Jr. and Carol Laine; and brother Michael J. Laine.

He is survived by his brothers Charles L. Laine, III & wife Lois, Mark G. Laine and wife Teri, John C. Laine and wife Carmen and Brian P. Laine; nieces Tina Uebersax and husband Wayne, Stacy Laine, Katherine Determann and husband Trent, and Courtney Laine; and great-nephew Collin Uebersax.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 P.M., with Deacon John Pistone officiating. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Stephen Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Allison, Ron Holifield, David Laine, Roger Martinez, Joseph (Tra) Tramonte and Wayne Uebersax.
