Our beloved Dad, Robert Everett Evans III, passed away at the age of 74 on July 20, 2017 in Katy, Texas. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends up until the very moment that he went to be with his Father in Heaven.

Bob was born on October 31, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a graduate of Mary Carol High School in Corpus Christi where he was a member of the High School band and basketball team. After graduation in 1960, he left home to attend Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets until graduation in 1965. He started his career after graduation with NL Baroid working in the oilfield and then years later purchased his own independent testing facility, Mudtech Laboratories. When not at work, which was a rare occasion, you could find him attending church, singing, listening to music, spending time with friends, camping, traveling, reading or searching for another bald eagle statue to add to his collection.

He is survived by his mother, Rhoda Ann Evans; brothers, Steven Edward Evans and David Keeton Evans; sisters Janis Kay Caravelli and Mary Ann Woodward; children Michael Robert Evans and Shelly Renee Davis; grandchildren Brittany Johansen, Kailey Evans, Caleb Davis, Maggie Davis and Lily Davis; great grandchildren Kennedy Smith, Beckham Smith and Kori Johansen.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Everett Evans Jr
