Dallas Albert Franks passed away June 14, 2017 in Rosenberg, Texas. He was born to Al and Rae Franks in DeRidder, Louisiana on April 24, 1967. His greatest joys in life were his daughters Carly Grace and Natalie Gantt Franks. He is survived by them and their mother, Jennifer McCown Franks of Richmond, his mother Rae Franks of Magnolia, brother Shawn Franks and wife Tamara of The Woodlands, and sister Melissa Franks Gantt and husband Michael of Greenville. Nieces Sarah Gantt Norris and husband Eric, and Ivy and Violet Franks; nephews Austin Franks, Tyler Franks and wife Lexi, and Devin Franks; great-nieces Emma, Ellie, Tatum, Varya, and Layla and great-nephews Kaden and Owen; aunts Jennie Courtney and Theresia Beltz, uncle Jerry Willett, numerous cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, uncles Ronald "Rusty" Franks and Clyde Raymond Willett, and nephew Joshua Michael Dean Gantt. He graduated Texas A&M with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked in sales and sales management in the geo-seismic field. He was responsible for multi-million dollar deals and enjoyed his work. Dallas loved his family beyond measure. His greatest joy was attending his girls' activities and greatest pride was in their accomplishments. Dallas never met a stranger, loved music, loved a good debate, loved to travel, and loved entertaining his many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford TX 77477.
