Colonel William M. Brown Jr.
Colonel William M. Brown, Jr., a resident of Blanco, age 88, died Thursday, April 4, 2002. He was born on January 9, 1914 in Kenedy. Colonel Brown was in the U.S. Air Force, having served in WWII and Korea; he was also a member of Blanco Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Hostetler of Blanco; grandchildren, Laura McClinton, Linda Hostetler and Ken Hostetler; four great-grandchildren; brother, Earle Brown of Kenedy; sister, Aileen Brown of San Antonio. Colonel Brown was preceded in death by his wife; son, Bain Brown and grandson, William Hostetler. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco, TX. Interment will be in Blanco Cemetery, Blanco, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the William Hostetler Texas A&M Scholarship Fund, Blanco National Bank. CROFTS FUNERAL HOME Blanco, TX 78606 (830) 833-4523
