Fred H. Lanford, Jr.
(December 21, 1956 - June 5, 2017)

Fred H. Lanford, Jr., 60, of Irving, Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born December 21, 1956 to the late Fred H. and Virginia (Padgett) Lanford, Sr. in Dallas, Texas. Fred graduated in the 1976 class of J.J. Pearce high school, later graduating as a Fighting Texas Aggie from Texas A&M in 1987 with a Bachelor Degree in Horticulture. He loved the outdoors and was involved in landscaping for 30 years, he worked for Texas Land Care as their garden manager. Fred traveled extensively and often spoke of he and Amy’s honeymoon cruise. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends. He will be missed by all. Fred is survived by his loving wife Amy Renee (Woolsey) Lanford, of the home; children: Amy Kathryn and husband Zane Harrington of the Colony, Lee Samuel Lanford of Irving and Emilyann Marie Woolsey of Irving; sisters: LaJuana Dreabon Garrison of Richardson, Rebecca Ann and husband Charlie Gideon of Rowlett and Virginia Lanford Kettering of Dallas; as well as his nieces, nephews and other extended family. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Friday, June 9, 2017 at Donnelly’s with Scott Michael officiating. The family will receive friends at the home following the service.
