Justin - Funeral services for John Donald Faught, 66, were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Justin. Burial was in Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle.
Mr. Faught, longtime civic leader in Denton County, died Wednesday in Fort Worth from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Lake Worth sunday.
Faught was board chairman of the Denton Wise County soil Conservation District, former chairman of the board of Flow Memorial Hospital and served as trustee of the Northwest Independent School District until 1960.
He was a member of the board of the Brazos Electric Power cooperative and had been president of the Denton County Electric Cooperative for four years. In 1954 he won recognition as the country's outstanding district soil conservation supervisor.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Justin.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Shannon and Mrs. Isla Sue Rowe, both of Fort Worth; his mother, Mrs. Isla Faught of Argyle and nine grand children.
