Dr. Ronald Clair Higgins, 73, of Texarkana, TX, died Friday, June 2, 2017, in a local hospital. He was born November 23, 1943, in Galesburg, IL. He was an industrial engineer and the Director of AMC Logistic Leadership Center, a member of the Masonic lodge,
a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church, and was the Mayor of Red Lick, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie L. Higgins of Texarkana, TX; one step-son, Grant Griffin of Texarkana, TX; one step-daughter, Hollye Jackson-Perry and her husband, Pat, of Saginaw, TX; and four grandchildren, Hunter, Austin, Isabel, and Nolan; and his uncle,
Bob Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Brad Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scholarships at Texas A&M University, Texarkana.
