1933-2017
Iverson McCoy Branan, 84, born March 27, l933 in New Orleans, died May 31, 2017 at home in Katy, Texas. He resided most of his life in Houston and Fredericksburg, Texas. He was a 1954 graduate of Texas A & M and a former Captain in the US Army. He worked at American General Life Insurance Co. as a manager and consultant in Information Technology for 49 years. He is survived by wife, Melinda Branan; son, Andrew and wife Laura; daughter Betsy and her husband John Benton; sisters Nancy Roberts and Mary Ellen Branan and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services are at 11am Monday, June 5 at Forest Park Lawndale in the Chapel of Angels.
