Marion Wayne Parmley died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on May 17, 2017. Wayne was born February 14, 1936 to Thadius Eugene Parmley and Wilva Whitlock Parmley in Channing, Texas. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Carol Singleton Parmley, three children, Lee Anne Hays of Dallas, Texas, Kelly Gaither and her husband Adam Gaither of Austin, Texas, and Mike Parmley and his wife Alicia Parmley of Houston, Texas. He is survived by seven grandchildren,
Christopher Hays of Rochester, New York, Jessica Hays of Houston, Texas, Daniel Hays of Dallas, Texas, Matthew Parmley of Houston Texas, Morgan Gaither of Austin, Texas, Jamie Parmley of Houston, Texas and Jack Gaither of Austin, Texas. He is survived by one
great-grandchild Oliver Hays of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by two siblings, Brownie Parmley and Thadine Stoker of Alexandria, Louisiana.
The family wishes to thank MD Anderson and New Century Hospice. Special thanks and appreciation go to Norma, Belinda, Chaplain Tim, and all of the special angels at New Century Hospice for all the loving care and support provided.
Wayne will be laid to rest at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 am, Friday, May 26, 2017. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Memorial donations may be made to New Century Hospice through the Grace Hospice Foundation. Donation information
