Michael Eli Williamson, Sr.
(January 19, 1949 - May 5, 2017)
Michael Eli Williamson, Sr., age 68, of Killeen, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 in Louisiana.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 15, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville, with Rev. Matt Dossey officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.
Michael was born on January 19, 1949 in Gatesville, Texas to Joe Francis Williamson and Jean Elizabeth Hill Williamson. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1967. He continued his education at Texas A&M University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1971 and then a master’s degree in 2008. He was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Williamson.
Michael is survived by his wife, Judith Williamson; mother, Jean Williamson; daughter, Jessica Cole and husband, Randy of Gatesville; two sons, Michael Shane Williamson and wife, Rena of Gatesville and Michael Eli Williamson, Jr. of Rosenberg; three grandchildren, Brantley Cole, Bryce Cole, and Peyton Williamson; two brothers, Joe David Williamson and wife, Louise of Gatesville and Mark Williamson and wife, Melissa of Georgetown; several nieces and nephews; and stepchildren, Andrew, Keith, Dwayne, Alisa, and Karen.
