Walter Boettcher
Walter Boettcher (1932 - 2011) Walter Boettcher, a retired City of Austin engineer, well known among the Austin engineering and land development community, passed away on 22nd March in Dallas after a long illness. Walt is remembered as a 'straight shooter'
by his colleagues and especially for his efforts in implementing the City of Austin's watershed management, flood control and land development ordinances in the 1970s and 80s. He is survived by his wife Sophia, his brother William (Venetia) Timm, his three
children Kim (Joe) Noonan, Gretchen (Richard) Boettcher- Harris and Walter (Jacky) Boettcher and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 9700 Webb Chapel Road, Dallas, Texas 75220.

Boettcher, Walter E. 79, of Rowlett, Tx passed away on 22nd March after a prolonged illness. The former City of Austin engineer was married for 58 years to the retired Reverend Sophia Boettcher. Walter is survived by his wife, brother William (Venetia) Timm,
three children Kim (Joe) Noonan, Gretchen (Richard) Boettcher-Harris and Walter (Jackie) Boettcher, as well as five grandchildren. The funeral service and interment will be held at 11:00am on Saturday 26th March at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 9700 Webb Chapel
Road, Dallas, 75220.
