William Vincent "Bill" Ryan, 81, passed away on August 28,2015 in Houston, Texas. He was born on October 6,1933 in Cuero, Texas to Richard and Virginia Blakeslee Ryan.

Bill graduated from Cuero high school in Cuero, Texas in 1952. After high school, he attended Texas A+M University where he received a degree in Animal Husbandry. He joined the US Army in 1953 and served for 2 years. He served in Korea and was discharged in 1955, achieving the rank of Specialist 3rd Class.

Bill married Barbara Powell at St. Michaels Catholic Church on September 8,1956 in Cuero, Texas. They were happily married for 58 years. Bill's hobbies included golfing, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and being a part of St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Richard & mother Virginia, brothers, Richard Jr., & Bernard Ryan, sisters, Rosemary Carbonara & Francis McMahon, & his son Michael.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Spring, Texas; his daughter, Debbie & husband Glen Williams of Friendswood, Texas; his daughter, Alisa & Tommy Benoit of Spring, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 21 nieces and nephews.

The services will be held at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 26777 Glen Loch Dr. Spring, Texas 77381 on September 3,2015. The rosary will start at 10:00 a.m., mass at 11 :00 a.m., and a reception at noon. The Graveside services will be held at 2:30 at Forest Lawn Cemetery of Houston, Inc. 8701 Alemda-Genoa Road, Houston, Texas 77075
