David Foster
David Arthur Foster, loving father, passed away at Haven Hospice Center in Orange Park, Florida on April 2, 2017. He was born May 14, 1942 to Emmitt Arthur Foster and Creta Estelle Lynch Foster. He graduated Denison High School in 1960. He earned a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Bio-Medical Science from Texas A&M University, Class of 1973. His career for the majority of his life was in construction. He was a skilled builder and built numerous homes in Bryan and College Station, Texas. His last years he worked
for W.W. Gay. He was very good with carpentry , and also had a love of animals. His other favorite past times were hunting, fishing, car shows, gun shows, and watching his grand children in their different sports activities. He was a kind and gentle man. The
churches he attended were Waples United Methodist in Denison, Texas, and A&M United Methodist in College Station.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Arthur Foster; mother, Creta Estell Lynch Foster; sister, Sylvia Emily Foster Hall; nephew, Mark Shannon Hall; niece, Ami Foster.
He is survived by his son, David Keith Foster and son's wife Molly Eickenroht Foster and their children, John Foster, Hannah Foster of Orange Park, Florida; daughter, April Paige Foster Sorrells and her husband Steven Larry Sorrells and their two children David
Sorrells and Lauren Sorrells, of College Station, Texas; brother, Glen Foster and wife Judy Foster of Denison and their children Scott Foster, Cindi Foster, Tami Foster, Craig Foster; Sylvia's husband, Sherman Hall of Denison; Vanessa Smith Hall of Euless
and Gene Hall of Denison.
Memorial service to be held at 2p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at The Waples United Methodist Church, 830 West Main St. in Denison.
