Lee Moore ’77, passed away on Feb. 2, 2017 from complications due to pneumonia. He was born on Nov. 14, 1954, grew up in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School. He then graduated from Texas A&M University in 1977 with a degree in Range Science. He worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for the W. F. Smith Company.
Lee participated in competitive pistol matches and 3 gun and carbine matches. He got great joy out of watching his children grow up and spending time at the family ranch in Big Foot Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his three children Cody Moore, Matthew Moore and Kimberly Daxon, two grandchildren Joseph Daxon, Jocelyn Daxon, his mother Dorothy Moore, his sister Judy Smith ’80, brother-in-law Dubb Smith ’78, nieces Paige Smith Morgan ’03 and Kerbey Smith ’07.
