John C. Crawford, PhD, 80 of Coppell, Texas. passed away on February 19th in Plano, Texas.
Memorial services will be 2 PM, Saturday, March 4th at Rhoton Funeral home in Carrollton, Texas.
John was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on December 11, 1936. He received his PhD from Texas A & M in 1980 and was a professor at The University of North Texas for over 33 years.
He married Valerie Walton on April 3, 1961 in Sydney, Australia.
John is preceded in death by: Joy Ross, his sister-in-law, Tom Walton his father-in-law and Elsie Walton his mother-in-law and Agnes Proudfoot, his mother.
John is survived by: Valerie Crawford, his wife of 56 years, his daughters, Margaret McFarlane and Julie Crawford, his grandsons Shawn McFarlane and Thor McFarlane, his great-grandchildren, Sydney McFarlane, Micah McFarlane & Emory McFarlane.
The family of John wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The Medical Center of Plano and the wonderful doctors and nurses of the Neuro ICU department who took such great care of John in his final days.
