Mitt A. Bush, 75, of Caldwell passed away, February 9, 2017 at the College Station Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, February 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. John A. McCaffrey as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Bryan.

Mitt was born September 13, 1941 in Bryan, the son of Tony M. and Mary Salvato Bush. He was a resident of Burleson County, where he practiced his lifelong love of farming and ranching. He was a graduate of Texas A&M, Class '64. He was an avid Aggie sports fan, attending every basketball game he could. Mitt enjoyed playing cards with his friends, his Catholic faith, Italian traditions and blending those together for a meal with family and friends.

Mitt was preceded in death by his parents, Tony M. and Mary; the mother of his children, Carla Reed; and a brother-in-law, Donald Halvorson.

Survivors include his children, Robb Bush, Anthony M. Bush, Kristin Williams and her husband, Bud; grandchildren, V. Bush, Kayla Bush, Joshua Bush, Seth Bush, and Logan Graves; great-grandchild, Ryleigh Bush; sister, Margaret Halvorson; and brother, Frank Bush and his wife, Lynn.
