December 27, 1935 - February 2, 2017

June Francis Cooper, 81, passed away Thursday, February 2 at her home in College Station.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Reverend Eric Pitre officiating.
June was born in St. Louis County, Missouri at the family home on Friday, December 27, 1935 to parents Thomas M. Cooper and Leona Belle Ebeling Cooper. She graduated from Normandy High School in St. Louis, MO; and attended Texas A&M University in College Station. She went to work for the Texas A&M Poultry Science Department and U.S.D.A. Continuing work for the Veterinarian Toxicology and Entomology Research Laboratories in College Station. June was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
June is preceded in death by her sister, Annie Mariah Collier Finch; brother-in-law, Julian Edward Finch; her two lifelong cherished friends, Florence May Farr and Christine Jewel Opersteny; and numerous other fiends.
She is survived by her brother, Thomas W. Cooper; nephew, Donald W. Cooper and wife Kelli, and his three children; niece, Valerie Jean Grupe and husband Donald, and their three children; Mike Collier Finch and wife Belinda, their two sons, and their children; nephew, Jack Thomas and wife Debbie, and their two sons. Also surviving is her beloved extended family, Robert, Donald, Rick, Douglas Opersteny and their families.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
