Mark Satterwhite passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was 69 years old. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 11, 1947, to his parents Jack Reginald Satterwhite and Lillidale Fullick Satterwhite. He and his brother, Scott, grew up in nearby Sinton, Texas. He graduated from Sinton High School and attended Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets- Company E-2, the Singing Cadets and the Aggie Class of '70. In civilian life, Mark worked for a couple of years as a bank examiner, then joined his father in their family’s business, Satterwhite Insurance Agency in Sinton, and ended his work career as Office Manager for Dunham Engineering. Mark was passionate about the piano, playing for weddings, churches, receptions and dinners. At the time of his death, he was the organist/pianist for First United Methodist Church in Brenham. He served as Secretary for the College Station Rotary Club, was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Brazos Valley Symphony, and actively volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
