(October 23, 1963 - January 17, 2017)
RAWDON ALLEN, 53, peacefully passed away surrounded by friends and family on January 17, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on October 23, 1963 in Lubbock, TX. and spent his childhood in Garland, TX. Rawdon graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in History and Speech and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Rawdon remained an avid Aggie fan throughout his life. He went to work for Lockheed Martin after college as a Financial Analyst. Jan and Rawdon eloped and were married in the Teton Mountains on August 31, 1994. They moved to Arizona in 1996 and Rawdon worked for Young Life in the East Valley for 4 years. Rawd also worked for Gold Bar Espresso in Tempe. Additionally, he volunteered with Young Life East Valley, Young Life Capernaum and the Arizona Science Center. Rawdon is survived by his wife Jan Allen, his children Nathan and Jordan Allen, his parents, Milton Allen and Gerry Martin and his sister, Scottie Cure. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
