Jack Randolph Lee Jr., 83, of Glen Mills, Pa., passed away on Jan. 1. Born in Paris, Texas, to Zellene and Jack Lee on Sept. 7, 1933, he graduated from Paris High School in 1951 and was active in the First Methodist Church and Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He went on to college at Texas A&M University and graduated in 1955 with a degree in building products and marketing. After graduating, he went into the U.S. Air Force and became a navigator with the rank of captain. Upon leaving active duty, he was in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for three years and continued to fly as a navigator. He went on to achieve a very successful career in the building supplies industry and retired as the president of Domco-Tarkett.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ida Terrell Boswell; three loving children, Jane (Alliene Lee) Makin, Jacquelyn (Lyn) Ruane, and Jack (Randy) Randolph Lee III; nine grandchildren, and two great grandsons. Jack always held the Lord close to his heart and tried to closely follow the path Jesus showed us. He was an unwavering example to his family and friends of a good man.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on Jan. 7. Visitation is at 10:30 a.m., followed by the memorial at 11 a.m., both at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, Pa. Memorial gifts may be made to: Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org/.
