James T. "Bill" Langston
April 18, 1923 - November 21, 2016
James T `Bill` Langston, 93, departed this earth on November 21, 2016 to reside in his Heavenly Home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bill was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a mentor to many throughout his life and career. He attended Texas A & M University and in his later years was involved in recruiting for the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Association. He was an avid pilot and served as a Major and Moral Leadership Officer for the Tennessee wing of the Civil Air Patrol. He was a man of strong faith and he and his wife were founding members of Colonial Park Methodist Church and a member of Berachah Church.
He is predeceased by his wife, Edith Barnes Langston and son, Clayton Hale Langston. He leaves his children, Benjamin Taylor Langston of Franklin, NC, Lynda Frix Garrett of Germantown, TN and Leonard Barnes Langston of Silt, CO. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
Services for Edith and Bill will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, December 15, 2016 the West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill –Irene Road.
