BURRELL, Jennifer Gail Thomas Former Dallasite Jennifer Gail Thomas Burrell passed away unexpectedly December 13, 2016 near Colorado Springs, CO. Jennifer was born in Dallas on November 20, 1962 to Louis Edward Thomas of Texarkana, AR and Linda Ruth Smith Thomas of Ft. Worth. After graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1981, she attended Texas A&M University where she pledged Chi Omega sorority and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Environmental Design. On February 19, 1994 Jenny married Richard Arthur Burrell, also of Dallas, TX, in a ceremony on the beach on Grand Cayman Island, British West Indies. While the Burrells resided in Dallas, sons Raleigh and Will were born. In 2001, the Burrell family moved to Colorado Springs, CO where they lived in the foothills of beautiful Pike's Peak until this past spring, 2016 when they moved to Denver, CO. Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Louis Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Richard Arthur Burrell, sons Raleigh Boedeker Burrell and William Blake Burrell, mother Linda Thomas, and brother Dr. Alan Quinn Thomas and his wife, Paige. Also surviving are brother-in-law Jack Burrell and wife Virginia, and sister-in-law Barbara Atkeson as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. Jennifer will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved her, especially for her sweet spirit and warm, infectious laugh. A service will be held in Dallas at Sparkman-Hillcrest on Wednesday, December 28th at 11:00am.
