Brian (BJ) Rehkopf Jr.

BJ graduated from BHS and was truly “Once a Driller-Always a Driller”. He continued to attend games, proudly displaying his #87. His passion for football intensified while he earned his masters in Land Management at Texas A&M, and after that he spent Saturdays watching the Aggies trounce or be trounced.
His second love was for his dogs. His first and most treasured companion was Gretchen, aka “Peeps”, his black and tan doxie who went with him everywhere, even on road trips back and forth to Texas. His current “friend” is his german shepherd, Jack, who intimidated the rest of us, but loved BJ.
He also had a love for family and friends; never did he meet a stranger. He enjoyed talking on the phone or just having coffee or tacos with those he loved. Rarely did he miss a Sunday family lunch or go to a restaurant where he didn’t know someone!
Lastly, he loved His Lord and loved worshipping and praying with other people. In recent years, he was the happiest when spending time with his small men’s group or attending VBF.
