Troy was a very proud aggie, graduating from Texas A&M in 1950. He spent 37 years in education as a teacher, coach and administrator. While he enjoyed all aspects of his involvement in education, he most enjoyed his years coaching, especially football. He touched hundreds of young lives through the years of his career. During the time he spent as a high school Principle and Superintendent, he continued to teach a class to maintain that contact with his students.
While his eternally positive attitude, words of encouragement and respectful behavior will certainly be missed, they will also be remembered and hopefully serve as a guide for others to follow.
