Melbert A Cudd, born May 15, 1929, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 at the age of 87.
Melbert was a 1951 graduate of Texas A&M where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and graduated with a degree in general business. He served in the U.S. Air Force for two years after graduation and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1996. In retirement, Melbert enjoyed traveling and working in his vegetable garden. Melbert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

MELBERT A CUDD
Melbert A Cudd, born May 15, 1929, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the age of 87. Melbert was a 1951 graduate of Texas A&M where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and graduated with a degree in general business. He served in the U. S. Air Force for two years after graduation and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1996. In retirement, Melbert enjoyed traveling and working in his vegetable garden. Melbert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife Viola. He is survived by his sons, Keith Cudd and Larry Cudd and wife Sonja; granddaughters Kristie Canterbury and husband Todd, Melody Velasquez and husband Shilo; great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Canterbury, Haley Canterbury, Addison Velasquez and Emaline Velasquez. As Melbert wished, his body was donated to Baylor College of Medicine. I keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
