John Peeler Jr.(1935 - 2016)
PEELER Jr., John Lewis John Lewis Peeler Jr., went home to dance with his beloved wife Gail in the presence of his beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John was born April 5, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas and died peacefully on November 1, 2016 in Waco, Texas
after a four-year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Donna Gail Peeler (Gail). John is survived by his sister Anna Jean Noah of San Antonio, his son Robert Peeler, wife Mary Ruth and granddaughters Annagail and Genevieve Peeler
of London, UK, and his daughter Melinda Johnson, husband Scott and grandchildren Alex, Zach and Camryn Johnson of Waco, Texas. John graduated from Texas A&M - Class of 1957. Following graduation, the proud Aggie served in the Army Reserves for two years before
moving to Dallas where he and Gail raised their family and John established a successful career in sales. In his "retired" years, John could be found working at Home Depot, where he became the resident paint expert. His family and friends know well that John
had a deep faith, which was lived out daily and as a faithful member of Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church for 50 years. They also know that he loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor even in the midst of life's trials. Above all, they know he
was a gentleman who exuded true contentedness, humility, and integrity. His life is an inspiration, his memory a benediction. A memorial service celebrating John's life will be held at Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church, 6445 E. Lovers Lane on December
