Suzanne Roberts
January 10, 1942 - November 12, 2016

Suzanne Roberts, 74, passed away on November 12, 2016.
Suzanne was born in Liberty, Texas to Steve and Peggy Green and grew up in Daisetta , Texas graduating from the Hull-Daisetta School District. She received her undergraduate degree from Baylor University and her Masters of Education from Texas A&M University. She utilized her education well serving first as a teacher, counselor and finally assistant principle. In addition to education, she also had various business ventures such as constructing and building houses. She met her husband of 54 years and they were married on August 24, 1962. They lived in the Hull-Daisetta and Liberty, Texas area for 20 years, the Dallas area for another 20 years and finally the Texas hill country for the last 10 years. Together they had three sons and eight grandchildren. She had a special cousin fund for the grandchildren where on a cousin’s birthday each child would receive a small monetary gift and the one celebrating a birthday would receive a much larger amount. Between her and her husband, she was the visionary of the pair often starting and completing many “projects” throughout their years of marriage. She also had a special arrangement with a local paver stone company in which she could have as many paver stones as she could fit inside her small pickup. As a hobby, with a load of pavers and sand she would venture to a friend or relatives home to bless them with anything from a paver stone base for a grill or other projects. Suzanne was deeply patriotic and had a very big heart for our nation’s military personnel, often paying for meals of soldiers she would see in restaurants. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Peggy Green.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tommy Roberts; sons, Kyle Roberts and wife Nannette of Marble Falls, TX, Koby Roberts and wife Jaime of Boerne, TX and Keb Roberts and wife Jennifer of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren are Ryan, Victoria, Elizabeth, Tyler, Lauren, Paige, Anna and Rachael; brother, Jeff Green and wife Helen of Hardin, TX.
