David Leroy Schoenemann, 61, passed away Thursday, November 17 at home in Austin with wife by his side.
David was born December 20, 1954 in New Port, Rhode Island to Barbara (Hutcheon) and Leroy Schoenemann (Lt. Col. USAF, Ret).
David moved to Austin in 1988 and began working in Real Estate. He joined Retail Solutions in 2011, where he became a leader, a mentor, a friend, and a treasured & revered member of the RS family. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University, member of the Austin Board of Realtors, member of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and was a very proud member of the CCIM Institute & the Central Texas CCIM chapter.
David loved all sports, especially Aggie Baseball and playing golf. He and Jackie loved to travel and logged many miles driving across America.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara and survived by his wife of 23 years, Jacklynn (Storm); father, Leroy; brothers and sisters-in-law, John, Mark and Patricia, Paul and Becky; mother-in-law, Alline Jourdan; father-in-law, Stephen Storm; brothers-in-law, Merlin Storm and Marius Jourdan; nieces and nephews, Christele Garcia, Patrick Schoenenmann, Kara Schoenenmann, Brian Schoenenmann, Robyn Schoenenmann, Joshua Schoenenmann, Ashley Schoenenmann and Jaden Storm.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bryan. Interment will follow at the Giesenschlag Cemetery in Snook.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Hospital, 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030, , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Seaton League House, 3207 Medical Pkwy, Austin, TX 78705.
