Robert "Bobby T" Miles Towns, 69, of Bryan, passed away, Thursday, November 10, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A celebration of his life is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, November 14, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Msgr. John B. Gleissner Mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Bobby T. was born December 1, 1946 in Marlin, Texas, the son of Geneva Lee (Jackson) and Darwood Miles Towns. He was a member of the Fighting Texas Aggies Class of '68. Bobby T. was commissioned into the U.S. Navy on September 11, 1970 and served until January 1, 1975. After returning home, he started his career as a construction manager and was responsible for many projects in the United States and in South American and the Middle East. He enjoyed tending to his cows and working with his tractor. Attending his grandson's FFA shows was one of his favorite pastimes.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Geneva and Darwood Towns and his mother and father-in-law, Dean and Willie Bienski.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Carol (Bienski) Towns; children, Willie Towns & his wife Corie of Katy, Patrick Towns & his wife Stephanie of Bryan; three grandchildren, Tyler and Aaron Towns and one little bundle of joy due in January, Tyler and Aaron Towns; two brothers, Randy & his wife Debbie of Roanoke, Cris Towns & his wife Deborah of New Braunfels; sister-in-law, Frances Mansel & her husband Bobby of Bryan; brother-in-law, Bobby Bienski & his wife Mona of Ft. Worth; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
