Leissner, Marc Andrew

November 27, 1969 - October 19, 2016

Marc Andrew Leissner, 46, formerly of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his home in Pflugerville, Texas. A Celebration of Life will take place in Austin.

Marc was born November 27, 1969, the son of Martin and Helen Leissner. Marc grew up in Bryan and graduated from Bryan High School in 1988. Throughout high school he worked for his dad at Hardy Gardens. Marc enjoyed his years in Boys Scouts and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. After high school Marc went to Texas A&M at Galveston pursuing a degree in marine biology. He went to Florida and became a scuba diver instructor where he met Sally Pierce. They married in 1997 and moved to Pflugerville. He loved scuba diving and worked at Scubaland Adventures in Austin. He had taken numerous scuba excursions as a dive instructor throughout the Caribbean.

Marc also loved Elvis Presley. He enjoyed singing and impersonating Elvis and did so for numerous events. He later earned his certification as an ordained minister and enjoyed performing marriage ceremonies.

Marc loved and was so proud of his daughter Grace, his wife Sally and their many adventures together. He also loved animals, especially his dogs, Joe, Ruby and Blue. Marc will be missed deeply by his beloved family and many wonderful friends.
