Died: October 11, 2016
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Born July 27, 1943 to Gus and Esther (Rodenbeck) Kloppe of Thorndale, Texas, Michael was a graduate of Thorndale High School and Texas A&M University, where he obtained his B.S. in Engineering in 1967.
He married Dorothy Davis (Dee Dee) of Taylor, Texas on August 27, 1966. Following his love of automobiles, he worked in the automotive testing industry and in 1981 Michael and Dee Dee became the owners of Texas Test Fleet, an automotive tire and component testing
company in Devine and San Angelo, Texas.
Michael was a Captain in the U.S. National Guard where he served for 13 years. He was a life time member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, serving a term as President of the A&M Chapter. He was a member of Cornerstone Church for 40 years. At Cornerstone,
he hosted home Bible Study groups, recorded the Sunday morning services for almost 20 years, and hosted the post service visitors' reception for more than a decade.
Michael met his savior on October 11, 2016, and is survived by his wife, Dee Dee; daughter and son-in-law, Kortney Kloppe-Orton and Guy Orton; daughter, Kirsten Kloppe; and four grandchildren, Kaleb Michael Kloppe (25), Solomon Jon Razavi (20), Mary S. Razavi
(18), and Sara Elizabeth Razavi (15). His grandchildren were the light of his life, but he will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.
The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2016 at Cornerstone Church Vada Hagee Chapel.
