Harold L. Hildebrand, 84, of Albany died Dec. 3.
He was born to Abe and Martha Fisher Hildebrand in Dallas.
He grew up in Dallas, attending school through the eighth grade. After World War II broke out, he joined the Navy.
He loved family life and having fun. He especially loved to fish and buy property. He enjoyed being busy and putting furniture together, collecting picture frames and pictures.
Survivors include his daughters, Carol (Glen) Beeman, Kathy (John) Main, and Karen (Ray) Mott; brothers George and Paul Hildebrand; sisters, Josephine Gesner, Ann Mills and Helen Mannhalter; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Dec. 12 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Albany handled arrangements.
