November 5, 1931 – October 4, 2016
Trebor Morris, of Canyon Lake, Texas died in Plano, Texas where he was in a Memory Care Facility. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Akin Morris. Trebor was born to Trebor, Sr. and Annie Lee Mitchell Morris in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico where his father was a mining engineer. The family then moved to The Solitario (now part of Big Bend Ranch State Park) where his father set up a mine. The family returned to Houston and Trebor, Jr. graduated from San Jacinto High School. He then attended Tarleton State College and transferred to Texas A&M. He left to serve in the U.S. Army Veterinary Service then returned to A&M and graduated in 1957.

He followed a career in the food science industry and the family lived in Richardson, Texas until he retired and he and Betty moved to the Hill Country. At Canyon Lake he pursued his love of watercolor painting and activities at St. Francis by-the-Lake Episcopal Church. He served as Junior Warden, was a member of the choir and a Eucharistic Minister. He also served at Christ Healing Center in San Antonio.

In addition to Betty, he is survived by son, Robert and wife, Debbie, daughter Cathy and her husband Kelly, son Mitchell and wife Lorraine.
Also, grandsons Jason Morris and Nicholas Howard and fiancée Jennifer Arenka, and Christopher Brannum; granddaughters Emily Cardino, her husband Reynato and their daughter, Anastasia, Lacey Chapman, her husband Nathaniel and their children Elizabeth, Addison and Boston; granddaughters Megan Lee and Mackenzie Elizabeth Morris.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Building Fund, St. Francis by-the-Lake Episcopal Church, P. O. Box 2031, Canyon Lake, Texas or the . Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
