Richard "Gene" Bickham
September 18, 1930 - October 3, 2016
Richard E. “Gene” Bickham passed from this life into the heavenly life on October 3, 2016, in College Station. He was born in Bay City, Texas, on September 18, 1930; graduated from Van Vleck High School in 1948; and from The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry from 1952-1954. He is survived by his wife, Zanna Roy, two sons, one daughter, and their families. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church – College Station on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 2 PM. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Van Vleck, Texas, on October 7, 2016, at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Food Pantry or the Benevolence Fund at First Baptisit Church – College Station or to Hospice Brazos Valley. May God Bless you all!
